The Comforter is Ante-Christ
According to the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures at John 15:26 Helper is inter-changeable with comforter at St. John 15:26 of The HOLY BIBLE authorized King James Version. The promise of the Comforter by Jesus, from the Father (God) seems to be forgotten by the NOW disciples (followers).
Who is the Comforter?
At St. John 14:26 the comforter is the Holy Ghost, to be sent after Jesus returns to the Father (who is in haven.) The Comforter is to teach all things and bring back memory of Jesus’ sayings. At St. John 14:28-31 Jesus informed the disciples that He does not wish to speak more on the topic of Going to His Father because the night was coming and He had to get something to eat. The Comforter is not the Prince of this world as Jesus figuratively called himself at St. John 12:31 as He indicated that the Pharisees and Greeks came for him (for judgment) as St. John 12:36 confirms that Jesus hide himself from them.
At St. John 16:7-16 Jesus said that the Comforter will come before He Jesus returns from the Father then, manifest himself to those who loves Him by keeping His commandments according to St. John 14:21. The Comforter will come to (reprove) criticize and take to task lawlessness, the Comforter will exercise Judgment in support of righteousness. The Comforter in essence shares the truth and shows the way to God as the Comforter is not self-absorbed. Jesus said that He(Jesus) came from the Father into this world and He had to return to the Father so that the Comforter will come (St. John 16:28 and St. John 15:26). Notice that Jesus came to teach about the Father (God) St. John 12:49-50.
The Father is greater than I, Jesus said at St. John 14:28 while at St. John 14:16 Jesus said that a Comforter similar to Himself) will come who He prays for, to be with the disciples forever or longer than He did. As the people, mostly Jews according to St. John 12:34 said that Christ was not expected to leave (die) fulfilling their understanding of the law. To confirm Jesus' timing look at Mathew 24:1-15. Notice here Jesus said that although it may seem to you that He should come because you see signs of earthquakes, etc. He will return if you survive to the end (of the Comforter;s stay).
The NT Gospels support the expectation of Jesus return. None speaks to Anti-Christ but of false people saying that they are He. But like John the Baptist The Comforter will preceed Jesus' return.
